JO CALVER
Hi, I'm Jo Calver. With a passion for lighting and architecture, I have been working on interior projects for the last 13 years. After studying Interior Design at KLC School of design and returning from living in Germany for two years, I decided to set up Isla James Interiors in 2015. Since then the IJI team has been growing rapidly. Our portfolio is national and ranges from large high end residential homes to commercial projects such as restaurants and hotels.
We believe that designing the interiors and lighting together gives our projects an advantage. The combination of designing lighting alongside interiors is so powerful. We are always thinking about the design of the lighting and the architectural features of the building whilst designing the interior elements. When you design lighting and interiors in combination you can choose wall applications and textures that can be cleverly lit to add a dimension to the overall design.

JO CALVER
